See, I needed that. I don't know if you noticed, but I didn't get my first strikeout until the fourth or fifth inning. I need guys to make plays for me out there.

They made plays. We didn't make plays. That's been our MO I can't fault the effort. Guys are trying to win. We just had a horrendous fourth quarter and they had a great fourth quarter.

(Dirks) really didn't catch his groove until somewhere about the fourth inning. I think the fifth is the first time we had the first 1-2-3 inning. We needed it.

Everybody's going to play, and I think the results were that guys were fresh in the fourth quarter when we needed to make plays. A lot of guys made them across the board.

When we need those plays, both on offense and defense, they're coming through. We needed Marshall to come through for us on the last drive, and he did. We've taken our good losses this year. This is one we wanted to get. This is just disappointing. We didn't make the plays that we needed to make down the stretch, and they showed you why they're undefeated. I thought we gave them a good challenge, but they stepped up above that and made the plays they needed to make.

We just didn't execute the plays when we needed to. We ran the ball well at times, but we didn't execute on the big third-down plays or in the fourth quarter.

The main thing is to make sure guys know what they're doing. Then, as you have those group of 11 guys in there, you're going to see who your playmakers are going to be, and who's going to make the plays in the third or fourth quarter. And when we get to that position ... we can go out here and be confident in what we're doing. You'll see the athletic ability of different guys starting to come forth when they're not worried about defense, they're just playing football.

I didn't throw the ball well. I had a couple of bad plays I should have made. We all made some plays, but we didn't make the plays we needed to. It's a team effort and we didn't play like we could have.
