I do think it's a larger censorship problem. Here we have to battle just to be in locations. We've been banned from several of the businesses in town.
Paul Blake
Even the largest of the global companies often have hundreds of remote locations that have just a few employees. WDS appliances that are optimized for larger offices are generally too expensive for these smaller locations. Yet their needs are often greater than the larger remote office. They require all the same functionality of the larger sites, but have no IT expertise. With Riverbed's new CMC, the Steelhead models 100 and 200 can be configured and managed without anyone in the branch touching them, while the form factor and price point make them a perfect fit for the small remote office. These new appliances fit the needs of the remote location with just a few employees like a glove.

A lot of small town business has been dwindling, and Moulton's no exception. They can't compete against larger towns, ... In 30 years, we've lost some businesses; and [those] jobs are gone. It hurts.
Gary Harris
We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.

Every soldier must know, before he goes into battle, how the little battle he is to fight fits into the larger picture, and how the success of his fighting will influence the battle as a whole.

I abhor blatant censorship. That's exactly what happened tonight. I completely understand censorship in terms of FCC regulations. I don't always agree with them, but I understand them. Of course, the FCC does not allow certain words or graphic nudity, but blatant censorship, which was executed by Spike TV, should not be tolerated. This was just as reprehensible as the flagrant violation of censorship itself.

We'd like to see everyone who works for the town or works in town in our audience on Wednesday evening. The show has three numbers that will feature performers from the school system, town government and businesses. We're going to have lots of fun.

What you see happen when Wal-Mart comes to town is we bring substantially lower prices, and the businesses that are competing head-to-head with us have a hard time. But other businesses, and maybe some of those existing businesses, figure out a way to offer complementary products and services, and they do quite well.
Marty Heires
The very small businesses often run on PCs, which are generally running newer software and hardware. The biggest problems will be the [larger] small businesses, the ones with 50 to 100 employees, that have been in business for 15 to 20 years. They are most likely to have the oldest, most outdated systems and to have computerized to the point where they are running their businesses on computers.
John Gantz
In the past, someone would look at a problem, write some code, test it, improve it by hand, test it again and so on. The problem is, software is becoming larger and larger and less and less manageable. So there's a trend to make software that can adapt itself. This is a really big item for the future.

We want to attract industry and businesses, but to attract them you have to have amenities in town, so they (the businesses) are going to want to relocate here. But to add these amenities in town you've got to have that industry to support it ... It makes it really tough ... We are all keeping our fingers crossed. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. We want to attract industry and businesses, but to attract them you have to have amenities in town, so they (the businesses) are going to want to relocate here. [Having to pay the CBC for] limited access ... We have a code of ethics. The code of ethics speaks to censorship. It says we won't stand for censorship and can't stand for it. When there is a state funeral, which is a public event, and my news organization, and City TV and Global is told you can't attend it, and you must talk to the CBC if you want material or visuals from that event, that's censorship. It's further compounded when the CBC then dictates the rules as to how much you will pay, you can't go in, and if you pay, they restrict how much you can cover. So that's a double censorship whammy. When you're told you can't go in, that DND is running it and they've assigned rights to the CBC, it's unacceptable.

We want to keep their minds on the Weston businesses, and this would provide them access to locations they are looking for in Weston. Let's keep the spending dollar in Weston and benefit our businesses as well.

The airlines would seem to make sure that they could employ these larger aircraft in all the different locations they fly to from here.

He had businesses, he had locations, he had phone numbers.
