en Frankly, I'm very excited about the prospects. As we get closer and closer, you see the interest level. I couldn't be happier about the exposure and we haven't even thrown a pitch. It's the first time we've had this event and we'll sell as many tickets as the Winter Olympics this year. That's a phenomenal accomplishment, as far as I'm concerned.

en I couldn't be more excited about the level of exposure, and we haven't thrown a pitch. Will we sell out every game? No. Will we be happy with 800,000 fans? Absolutely.

en Corporate tickets will go on sale later in the year with local ticket sales closer to the event.

en I feel like the team just gets closer and closer every year. Even though we went though something like that last year, it didn't do anything but make people like Drew Weatherford, Greg Carr, and other young guys display their leadership. It really gets you excited about the next year.

en Any closer, if you pitch long enough, you're going to face some failure. He was able to bounce back from it as good as anybody. I hope the same is true for myself. I feel it will be. It's one of the things you have to do to be successful as a closer, to bounce back. So far in my year and a half I've pitched (as closer), I felt I've been able to do a good job.

en Eddie saved 36 games last year and came within one pitch of closing out two games he didn't. This will happen. He's a closer. He's our closer.

en We might actually sell out of Magnolia tickets, which has never happened before. We have 570 tickets for the event. At this point, we are approaching 500 sold. This is the largest fundraiser we do every year for the Symphony Guild, and I think this is going to be the best year ever.

en Obviously, you sell more tickets for a Winter Olympics in Switzerland than in Sicily. And since we have the euro and no border checks, it's normal to see more people coming from France than from Sicily, which is farther away.

en With 300 meters to go, I realized my legs were still powerful and I decided to try. Usually someone overtakes me, but today I did not hear any noise and the finish line was closer and closer. I couldn't believe it.

en We are getting so excited. As we get closer to the event, more things are falling into place. It's going to be an extravaganza.
