The tribe understands that the chamber of commerce serves as a nerve center of commercial activity with the city of Coeur d'Alene, and the tribe would like to be a full participant in the economic vitality of the region.

At a time when the rest of the country is pulling for these states to recover from devastating hurricanes, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has apparently decided this is a good time to trash them with false information, adding to the misery of their citizens and wreaking further havoc on their business communities. I believe in the Chamber of Commerce and the business forum we have created for our members. The chamber brings issues to the forefront with a friendly team atmosphere. Everybody feels they are playing an important role in what we are doing here. And we keep everybody's interest in mind when we take action.
