en What started in one Sunday school class in 1996 has become part of the fabric of the community.

en I don't travel around the world with a school class, I'm not a school-teacher or the father of a Sunday School.

en I've grown so much since 1996. I think that was the turning point of when I started to go to church every Sunday and not just because you're supposed to. But because you enjoy going and listening to the Word and being excited about it.

en Education is one of our cornerstone goals, an important element in our overall vision for Banning Lewis Ranch. We want to be able to provide a school system that is integrated into the fabric of the community -- and we've taken that first step by helping to build this school.

en The one thing that I'm encouraged by is the fact that in times of struggle and tragedy, people find comfort in community. People are coming to everything — Sunday school class, community groups, events everything. Attendance has gone through the roof. I feel like people are doing relatively well.
