We'll have hundreds more people using our parks, our clubhouse, our tennis courts, and our walking trails. That's wear and tear that wasn't projected.

I was walking by and I saw a piece of it on the ground. From people always spinning it and from the everyday wear and tear, it fell apart.

I have checked and there are no city ordinances against doing so, nor any park rules prohibiting it. Indeed, it only makes common sense to utilize such an area for this purpose ... in light of the fact that the tennis courts are seldom used for tennis.

We need to have a whole system (of parks) working together instead of a patchwork of individual parks. The plan needs to work together with other village goals, such as open space, trails and other environmental issues.

Just by walking they're creating a spider web of trails and there's trash all along those trails.

Originally, we were going to lose tennis but we're one of two schools with tennis courts. So we may end up with tennis and give up something else.

There wasn't really that much of a benefit to doing the fall work. Not doing it will help us reduce our fuel use. And we'll also save on labor and on machinery wear and tear.

What's happening is that people are taking their dogs out to the parks and along trails, and when their dogs are going to the restroom, people are not picking it (the feces) up as they should to properly dispose of it. It?s a different kind of tennis here. With seven courts, you can all go out there together and relax. With four courts, there?s more cheering and more pressure.

It's a real challenge -- I don't think that just because you're away you expect a lesser result. But there are different factors in terms of playing tennis. The courts are different. Their courts are a little faster.

It's more frustrating that we didn't get the job done. You can see the frustration with people walking in (the clubhouse), myself included.

Until now I wasn't used to playing on hard courts, ... We don't have courts like this in Romania, we only have clay courts, and I don't know, this year I've started to play better and better on this kind of court, so I am feeling confident now and I am looking forward for the next matches and also for the US Open.

Everybody wanted to explain Rosa Parks and wanted to teach Rosa Parks, but Rosa Parks wasn't very interested in that, ... She wanted them to understand the government and to understand their rights and the Constitution that people are still trying to perfect today.

In most cases, people are totally oblivious to it. There will be coyotes hiding in bushes or in the parks or something and people will be walking by with their dog and they'll have no idea there's a coyote there.
