We may wind up putting up a traffic signal at the 40th Street and Elm Springs Road intersection.

We don't have any plans for improvements to that area right now. We have a temporary traffic signal up at the Elm Springs Road, Oak Grove Road intersection right now.

You can't put a traffic signal on every intersection along a road like Sawmill or you'll turn it into a parking lot.

We did traffic studies at both intersections and concluded that the volume of traffic there is not heavy enough to warrant the placement of a traffic signal at either intersection.

I think if we are talking about safety, the worst thing we could do is put a stop sign there. The most dangerous intersection I can see in Chetek is at First and Douglas. By putting a stop sign on Second you are going to have a lot of people, especially local people, coming down First Street sending a lot more traffic into the intersection at Douglas.

It creates problems for our residents in the south. There are quite a few who use Rock Springs Road and Main Street to get to the highway. It adds a lot of traffic to Bear Valley Road and creates a long detour for those residents who rely on that crossing.

The traffic generated would almost double what's on Joyce now. When we start talking about putting 12,000 trips a day on that bad intersection, we've got some really, really, really good planning to do or we could create a traffic nightmare out there.

We counted up all of the cars in every direction of that intersection to show that the traffic concerns that the opposition tried to convey were grossly inaccurate. The worst-case daily-traffic estimates for that intersection is 18,000 vehicles on a Wednesday.

As we continue to have development in that area, we are seeing an increase in traffic at that intersection, and a driveway that close to an intersection is nothing but a problem because drivers at both sides are trying to figure out where the other is going. It's very confusing for drivers at that intersection.

The whole key in analyzing the traffic impact is the use of the key intersection of Lewis [Street] and Trinity Lane and the access to the site.

[Reliance Road] is a far worse intersection, probably deserving of a signal just by sheer numbers of use. It's a sharp bend. There's a number of accidents there. So it's problem.

The construction is tentatively set between 31st Street and 12th Street, ... It will be complete reconstruction to widen the road. There will be heavy traffic ... and we want to get the motoring public up to speed.

It encompasses the area from the rock cut to the Cherry Creek Road intersection. The project will involve the expansion of the existing bike path and will allow bicycles on both sides of the street.

You know, a lot of these photos were taken from the middle of the road, but at that time there really wasn't that much traffic. But I had to stand out in the middle of an intersection just to get the same shot as these photographers who lived one hundred years ago.

We are concerned about the length of road between signals. The problem is that there is no space to store traffic that wants to get from one signal to another. She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first.
