en Star Trek's legacy of being of involved with their fans on a very direct level, is a great business model for just about any company that would benefit from that kind of contact. People really do appreciate it when you show that you respect them and that they're important to you.

en Our politicians have taken a lead in the anti-AIDS campaign for many years now. As important, the private sector is involved -- we have a business council of 22 top companies who work together on AIDS awareness programs. And, thankfully, many religious leaders and NGOs (nongovernmental organizations) are very interested in working with the government.

en We are so very pleased that the Ad Council agreed to this campaign. Ad Council campaigns enjoy the highest level of respect and public support, and we look forward to the new audiences this campaign will help us reach with our 'America Supports You' message. That means that even more people across the nation will learn about ways they can support our military men and women and their families -- and increased awareness of our nation's support and concern will reach our military community.

en We are pleased to begin a relationship with one of our country's premier cancer centers. We are particularly excited because of the community outreach initiatives that are integrated into this partnership. We are not only focused on bringing more marketing partners into the Rays family, but also developing relationships such as this, in which the community benefits as well.

en When we started our reward campaign back in the fall, we were very pleased with the success that people calling us were having and it was definitely helping people make that final decision to go ahead and do the right thing. Many had been contemplating calling us for a long time. We just decided that if some is good, more is better. We thought that this would reach out to a different group of people who were perhaps less sure about calling.

en We don't have a huge number of Fortune 500 companies in this town. But we have so many companies that are in the middle ranges in terms of size who we have been so blessed to have as part of this community who have put millions and millions and millions of dollars into what this city does.

We know, as with any marketing campaign, that not all the people are going to like it, but if it's based on research for the target audience, and we did a lot of research ... it will reach those people we're hoping to attract here.

en This is an easily accessible tool for community leaders to collaborate and learn more as our knowledge advances in this area. In real-time, users can update information and add their own experiences in this rapidly evolving environment and it will inform the work of each of our organizations.
