In the position that ordsprog

en In the position that we're in now, we have to be good in every game and not settle for a point. We have to go for wins every night and hope Omaha is going to stumble.

en We've made our own bed this year. We had 50-point wins, 40-point wins. The other night, that's uncommon territory.

en It was parents night and our guys went out and had two impressive wins. It was a good parent's night and the two wins were a good way to highlight the occasion. We appreciate the work of our parents because they're second to none. That's the kind of momentum we want to build as we head into the state playoffs.

en Every time I step out onto the floor, there's no question why I'm out there. I play to win. I don't want to settle for being a good team. I want to reach greatness. None of this was ever given to me. I had to work for everything that I've got. I continue to work, and I continue to come out and try to improve on my game, night in and night out.

en That is what changed the game right there. Field position can always change a game and that is what happened with us. After that, we never gave them good field position the rest of the night.

en We're to the point that every game is a one-game season to us. I don't personally feel like Woodland is going to lose any more games. They may, but that's our way of thinking. We stumble just one time and we're tied and twice they win it outright. We have to stay sharp and get prepared to win every game.

en Some teams aren't sure they can win. Some teams hope they can win, and some teams know, not just that they can win, but that they're going to win. I'm not sure we're there yet, but we really believe that every night we do give ourselves a real good shot at winning the game. That's part of the evolution. I'd like to get to the point where we know we can win.

en I believe we're an Omaha team. Coach Polk made a comment before the game that we'd like to go 56-0, but we're going to lose sometime. ... We hope not.

en We feel pretty good. We've got to take it one game at a time. That first game is definitely going to be huge. Everybody has a new life. Everybody has that hope of going to the NCAA Tournament. We got to go out there and fight like we always do and come up with some wins.

en Something happened night after night, almost to the point where you were sitting there in a close game in the eighth inning wondering what was going to happen. It was good to get it over with. We didn't need the attention. At that point, our locker room had become like a World Series locker room. People we'd never seen before wanted us. National attention is one thing. For the wrong reason isn't good.

en We think we're going to bring a new set of travelers into Omaha, clients into Omaha, visitors into Omaha.

en Last night was truly an amazing night. Anyone who loves tennis is thrilled to see Mac back in action, and in such great form. I hope for the good of the game there is lots more of this to come.

en They take good point shots, create traffic at the net and they're hard people to move. Whoever wins the specialty-team game should win the game tonight.

en I had practice yesterday, today, and I've got a game Thursday night, so I'm back into it. (Washington has) pretty much the same standard as all football teams. I hope to be with them for a while, I hope it works out. I hope to have a good year, to maintain a 36 net average or better like I did every year in Atlanta.
