I know that's something we're certainly going to focus heavily on this week. What exactly he's going to do to stress it, I don't know, but I know for certain he's going to do that. The first couple of preseason games we didn't have as many penalties, but unfortunately we regressed.

We just didn't get into a rhythm because of penalties and turnovers. We didn't produce like we wanted to, and we still have a ways to go. We still have another preseason game to go, and we have to use this week to prepare.

He could possibly play tomorrow, if he wants, but we'll probably end up holding him out. It's the preseason, the first few games really aren't important. I don't care if we win or lose preseason games. My main focus is to get guys rest.

He did a good job throughout the preseason of limiting the penalties. He had a couple spells where he had more penalties than he should have had. He has all the athleticism to carry out the technique, the speed to run with the receivers, the toughness. And he had a good camp,

It's always tough coming back after a loss, trying to regroup and refocus. But I think we've done a real good job at it. We've moved on. We've put it behind us. She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. We've focused on the penalties this week by focusing on technique. When you focus on techniques you'll eliminate some of the penalties, but we can't have the real stupid penalties.

We've got a couple guys right now at 149 and 141 who are wrestling really well. But we've had a couple guys banged up and a few others who regressed a little during the season. We've been fixing things this week and getting everyone prepared for the Big Tens. This has been our goal all season, and we feel that if we wrestle like we should that we could win.

It was a disappointing trip for us. We lost a couple of close ones and didn't show up a couple of times. It feels good to go home with a win. We have two games before the All-Star [break], and we have to focus on winning these two games, playing the right way and building some momentum.

None, quite frankly. Maybe a couple games just to get some rhythm. But it's not important. I didn't play in the preseason last year either, and I was there on opening night.

To me playing the game is what's most important. We don't have the luxury of playing four preseason games. We don't have the luxury of playing 16 games. We've got 11 games to get it done. Right now my focus, obviously, is that this is game week, and we're all excited about that.

We fell one game short (last year). A lot of guys are focused, real hungry. Things didn’t go particularly the way we wanted in the preseason, but you don’t game-plan in the preseason. Our whole focus now is Tennessee.

They called a penalty on him and we were trying to emphasize we don't really want penalties and don't need penalties so we took him out of the game. I hope (our players) understand that penalties will get us beat. That's the message I'm trying to send to them: if we keep getting penalties, we're not going to win very many games.

That's the easy way to explain it. But it was different things at different times. We talked about pre-snap penalties last week, and they continue. In my mind, that's just focus and concentration. It does not make a difference whether you are young or old. That's just focus.

Going into the games, people know what we're going to do; the Packers do what they do and have been successful doing it. It's one of those things if you can zone into a couple things during the week and run that until you're comfortable with it, that's when you take a lot of the thinking out of it, the mental errors in terms of plays and penalties because you're focused.

We never got down. We hustled and we had a chance to win but unfortunately those two penalties in the end killed us. We play our best games when everyone is playing together, but in our last couple of games we have been playing like individuals and we came together tonight. Everybody skated well. We are starting to win a little more. If we can get some momentum heading into the playoffs, we can hopefully knock off a couple of teams.
