en We're trying to train all our employees so they know what is going on and we're looking at how we can use our volunteers.

en It was an opportunity to allow the Red Cross to train their employees, their new volunteers, as well as benefit city workers who would have to take off and could have slowed down city operations. It's a win-win for everyone.

en I think other bowls relying on volunteers and all that, if you have to train a new volunteer every year, that gets kind of chaotic. Our idea was if the media are happy, they are going to say good things.
