Rod Barnes has been a very positive and important part of Ole Miss basketball history throughout his playing and coaching career. We're here without him. We never made it to this point with him. So, I don't think that we miss him. That was a big question mark coming into this year: What could we do in the passing game? Well, consequently, our passing game is the reason why we're here in the Super Bowl. So, I can't sit there and say that we miss him.

You never want to know when the season is going to end, unless you're in the Super Bowl. You go through a period of depression for a while. You miss the guys. You miss the practices. You miss the meetings. We're in this game because we love it. So this is our Super Bowl, and this is our playoff game coming up. It's the last game of the year. We want to play and do as good as we can and take it from there.

They are special. I've told people this many times: I'll miss them more next year than (just) because of their points. Basketball aside, I'll miss being around them.
