This month's [survey] data indicate that consumers are trying to keep their credit usage in check. It is not suggesting that consumers are giving up on using credit, but that they are wanting to slow up and are keeping their debts from growing significantly.

It tells credit bureaus that they cannot sell your data without first getting permission. We're not saying that consumers should own this data or that they should be able to put credit bureaus out of business, but bureaus should not sell data until you've given permission.

Similar improvements in healthcare quality and reductions in cost to local employers should be apparent in the data PIC collects through our direct-to-employer programs. We've been able to directly impact the medical costs and quality for them - now we'll have additional tools to improve the pharmaceutical utilization.
