They walked a lot ordsprog

en They walked a lot of guys, so we had chances with runners on base and couldn't come through.

en As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.

en This game boiled down to us beating ourselves. They scored a pair of unearned runs and we left way to many base runners stranded. We had our chances and couldn't get the clutch hitting we needed.

en Once again we couldn't execute. We had six or eight stranded runners. We got the runners on base and then couldn't produce.

en We were getting runners on early, but we just couldn't get that key hit. Against this bunch, if you get runners on base, you've got to score.

en We left way too many runners on base during that second base. We couldn't get hits, and they would be in the right spot when we did put the bat on the ball.

en We walked too many guys. We walked 11 and we hit three. That's just giving up too many runners.

en That was a tough game for us. We had some runners in scoring position and some runners on base eliminated and that hurt us. But I did like the way the guys kept battling in the latter innings. They never quit.

en We had our chances. We left 13 runners on base.

en One thing is that they walked 12, hit three batters and had two errors in the field. There's 17 free base runners. But we did hit the ball well - a lot better than we have been.

en I was proud of them for getting through it. We just hit the baseball last night. It was a close game for the first couple of innings. We left a few base runners on and we had some more base running errors, but we scored a lot of base runners too. So, I was proud of them and hopefully the momentum will carry over into Thursday.

en The guy is just a lot of fun to watch. We like our chances with runners on base and him at the plate.

en I can help the guys be better outfielders, and I can help them be better base runners and base stealers. You look at where your strengths and weaknesses are and work from there. I can do that.

en We are struggling getting guys in. We had runners all over the place and guys aren't scoring. Leaving guys on base is not something that sits well in my bones. We have to fix that and get guys in and be aggressive.

en We left a lot of runners on base. We were unable to capitalize on some good chances.
