en I haven't had a chance to win a game yet, but I want it. I'm hoping it will be in the Sugar Bowl. That would be awesome.

en I am disappointed that we are not going to the Sugar Bowl. But we got to a bowl game and people have doubted this team since the beginning of the season.

en It's almost impossible to capitalize on your success when you don't have that many scholarships. Plus, many of the scholarships were filled before they won the Sugar Bowl. I think you'll see them use that Sugar Bowl win more this coming year in recruiting.

en Every team wants to go to a bowl game, and your goal is to go to the BCS and national championship, but if you can't do that, man, any bowl game is awesome. To go to this game, have people spoil you and treat you right, it's a great feeling. It's the icing on the cake.

en You're always concerned about that. As I've told our players, half of our young men haven't played in a bowl game either, and of the half who haven't, there are an awful lot of them who are playing and starting. It is a big, big day in the history of South Florida to play in their first bowl. Hopefully, we can make it a day that they won't want to remember.

en We haven't won a bowl game since 2001, so I think it's an important game for the program, and an important game for the seniors just to go out with a win. We came in with a (bowl) win and haven't won one since.

en We've built a strong following over the years, making 12 straight bowl games. And we've always traveled well here we brought a lot of people to the Sugar Bowl both the other times we were here.

en Some times bowl games give offenses a chance to go out and do some things they haven't done and shown all year. We've got to be prepared defensively to make adjustments early in the game.

en So, I thought we had a chance to be a nice football team. Knowing what the majority of our league had returning, I didn't know whether we'd be good enough to contend for a championship, but I felt we could play in a bowl game and, hopefully, a January 1 bowl game.

en Oh, yeah, there's some pride (at stake). We haven't played too well in this bowl game. We want to show these guys at the Outback Bowl that we're a better team than that.
