We teach our guys to hit to all fields and they did that almost perfectly in the (first game). This was probably the first game where we really jumped out to a huge lead and didn't have much to worry about.

We jumped out to a 9-2 lead, and our guys thought the game was over. And then they came back and led us, 13-12. I hope I was able to get the message across that they are a big and athletic team and you have to play the whole game.

It's huge. They would have jumped to a three-game lead on us. You've got to take these things in pieces. We're fighting right now for a division title.

Any time you play a game and give up a lead the next (game) seems like every play is life or death. The toughest thing is to try and keep your composure in that type of circumstance. We knew we really needed it. We didn't want to put too much pressure on it but this was a huge game for us.

The bottom line is that when it was a close game, we could zone them and we were doing a good job of containing their dribble-penetration. It was (a six-point Reynoldsburg lead) at the half and then they immediately jumped out to a double-digit lead and we had to go man. When we had to go man, that's when Washington and Clanton showed their experience. We just didn't have an answer for them. Most teams don't.

BC jumped their game up a notch or two. In every other game we played them, I believe we controlled a lot of the game. We didn't control any of this game. We were a step behind.

It's a huge, huge game. We don't want to go down two games to nothing in a short series like this, so it's a huge game, a must win. All of our guys have to play their best game of the season.

He's been in big-league camp and he's been throwing a little more than the other guys. He can probably give us more innings at this point than most of the guys. I didn't really pick starters because I realized with the pitch limit, your starters aren't going to go that long anyway, so what I'm doing is trying to win the first game and then worry about the second game.

To be perfectly honest, no knock on my girls, just give all the credit to Lancaster. We haven't figured her out for 14 innings now. We didn't get enough lead-off hits, we didn't get enough girls in scoring position with less than two outs; we just didn't do enough things to win a softball game tonight.

I think the first quarter determined the game. We jumped out to a big lead and then, as the game went on, we began to lose our focus a little bit. We have got to stay focused for all 32 minutes.

The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire. Both guys had three pitches working tonight. After we got the lead, Brooks gave us one more inning which was huge and then we could turn it over to Joshua (Fields). It really shortens the game when you know you have a guy like Joshua who can come in and close it out for you.

We just didn't play a good game. We started flat, and Florida jumped on us hard. The whole game, we didn't have our 'A' game. Florida took advantage of that.

Coquille jumped out to an 11-2 lead then we outscored them 26-8 the rest of the first half. It was our most consistent game of the year. This was our best shooting game of the season by far. Dinah played great at point guard for us tonight.
