 This game will bring a lot of recognition to college hockey. Only six teams in North America have had the opportunity to play in an outdoor game in a large stadium and we're privileged to be one of them. Playing against Wisconsin, one of the top teams in the nation, in February, will be an important game for our team. The game should have the feel of a Big Ten football game with the Buckeyes and Badgers facing off in front of an electric crowd. |
| As you know, we had a heck of a ball game with Michigan State, ... John L. (Smith) and his staff did a great job. The lead changed hands often in that game, two teams playing extremely hard, and like we face each week in the Big Ten, it was a battle down until the end. I'm real proud of the way our kids continued to play. We fell behind (but) we kept going after it and I'm very proud of them. |
| Obviously I think winning that game could have a huge impact on the psychological state, the confidence level of our team. That's obvious. But at the same time, we're home. We're Connecticut. Everybody think we're one of the top-10 teams in the country. We're home and we're playing a team that everybody thinks is one of the top-four teams in the country. Going into the game, yeah, we expect to win this game. That's what you're supposed to think if you're us. |
| It was a good showing for our team and it was a great atmosphere. Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. It was a great game for everybody at home. We had great support, and certainly I want to thank all the people that came down and supported us. We were playing a very good team. We beat Delaware State. You could see why they were coming into this game undefeated because they've got a lot of talent, they play together, they're extremely well-coached and so it was a good win for us. It was a win that we desperately needed. |
| Bobby Jones is a great addition to our program. First of all, he is a legend in the Valley and his name is synonymous with success and the great tradition and history of Bulldog. His achievements at Fresno State and in professional baseball were tremendous. Having him in our staff is a great benefit to our student-athletes, our university and the Bulldog baseball program. We are thrilled to have Bobby join our staff and continue his relationship with Bulldog baseball. |
| No question we'll have to play better. We are looking at this game as an opportunity. Not too many teams get the chance to play the No. 1 team in the state, so this is a great opportunity for us to show what we can do and avenge a very disappointing game last Friday night. |
| My experience at Fresno State has been very good. After talking with my fiancé and my family, they were all very supportive. They know my dream is to play in the NFL and they support whatever I decided. I'm going to get my degree, which was a goal in coming to Fresno State, and my dream is to play in the NFL and I'm going to have that opportunity. | It's an exciting time for Boston College. Seeing that this will be our first conference game in the ACC, and we've got to start off with the best, so I think it'll be great for our school and great for our football team and fans that we'll be playing in front of a national television audience. |
