I don't know that he's got everything he had back then. I don't think he throws as hard. But our scouting reports still say he's an effective set-up man, and he's going to make our bullpen stronger.

We had good scouting reports on him. We knew what he throws in certain situations and in certain counts. We hit him well.

We tried to keep them guessing. With these back-to-back matches, the scouting can be so right on sometimes. They almost know where I'm going to set before I do. I took the liberty of scouting myself and changing my game. Not so much to the point where my offense was different, but to where my situational thinking was different. A hitter has to make the right shots, and I have to make the right decisions.

Let them pitch. The more effective they are, the more you send them out there. Don't try too hard to fit them into your plans (for a bullpen). If they all look good, they all make the team.

Last year was a pretty good bullpen. (Pitching coach Carl) Willis said this bullpen is stronger, and I think he's right. We proved today that we have a good bullpen.

Hitting right now has been a little frustrating. I credit that to me … missing the pitches to hit. I'm a year in, and scouting reports get around the country. I feel like I'm a good hitter, but I don't think it's very hard to get me out if you pitch me right.

They're very much alike. The biggest difference is that Robinson is a little bit stronger. He played running back before, so he's not afraid to dip that shoulder and run you over. Just like we did against Vick, we have to contain him and make him one-dimensional, where he just throws the ball.

All the bad times last year are well-documented. He is as professional as you can be. If he throws like that, we're going to have some kind of bullpen. We want him to be a huge part of that bullpen. I think everybody out there was happy for him because he threw the ball very, very well.

She doubled in the 1,500 and 3,000. She did not work hard in the 3,000. She ran hard in the 1,500 and she knew we needed those points. She did a great job. She's coming back from being fairly ill for the first part of the season. She's getting stronger and stronger every meet. We're fortunate to have her in the program this year.

Nathan is a guy that has been in pennant races, and we have a lot of confidence in him. He's a hard thrower, throws lots of strikes and has the ability to close out games, so we think he will fit in well with this bullpen.

We just couldn't make a shot. We talked about it before the game, we had to make shots. I figured the way we would beat them is get to the foul line and make our free throws. We were bouncing off those guys. They were bigger and stronger.
