en We have to keep plugging along and try to improve our club. I like our nine players on the field a whole bunch. The areas we have to shore up are the front end of our rotation and the back end of the bullpen. Those are the areas we're concentrating on. We're certainly working at it.

en There are certainly areas in the rotation at which we can improve, like any club. But you look at what we have and it's something definitely we can work with. We have history and we have depth. Those two things give us a chance, once again, to be a formidable staff.

en To be a good ball club you've got to pitch well, defend the field and when outs are given to you, you've got to take those. Those are areas we continue to improve in.

en Our survey for housing starts and completions is for urban areas in Canada. Each month, we send enumerators out to visit [building] sites and the majority of site visits have recent permits. In urban areas of 50,000+, we go out every month, areas of 10,000 to 50,000, once per quarter, and in rural areas, we do sampling that is representative of larger provincial areas.

en We continue our review to improve other areas of the organization as well. Developmental plans and training programs encompassing many different areas of responsibility in the company are being implemented.

en I have a pretty good idea of what areas you can cross into and what areas you can't cross into when you're a bullpen coach,
