I thought the tone ordsprog

en I thought the tone was set at 1:19 when Knight drove the ball and they called a foul on Abe. The clock stopped, and they're scoring points. That's the worst thing.

en You can't foul that much. We just didn't play good defense, and we let them back into the game with the clock stopped. That's not a good thing to do when you've got a lead.

en When we had 70 points, I thought if we could get the game into the 80s, we'd have a good chance. We were going up and down and then we stopped scoring the last 21/2 minutes and we ended up with 70.

en I drove a little tentative at a couple of points because it was loose, and then I was mad at myself because I thought maybe I should have tried a little harder. But then I saw Rusty crash and I thought maybe I did the right thing.

en That's the best defense without fouling -- as physical a game as I thought it was -- that we've seen. We drove the ball inside almost every trip down the floor and we shot foul shots six times. That's pretty good guarding to me.

en I thought I put my arms straight up. I actually got there late, and thought he kind of jumped into me a little bit, but the ref called the foul on me and not him. He kicked his legs out and drew the foul.

en He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. [Knight made] a terrific play, ... They had a cover-2 [defense]. I was hoping [Knight] bit on it. I had my hands up and I thought I was going to catch it, but he just tipped it. I just know we've got to keep pushing. One thing I see [on this team] is a lot of guys who don't give up. We just have to keep our heads up and we'll be all right.

en We just tried to play good defense on them. We felt that if we stopped them, the clock would start to wind down and they would have to foul us.

en We just wanted to play on him tight. But the main thing was we played together. When he drove, my teammates stepped up and stopped the ball. We played team defense on him.

en I thought they blew the whistle and called a foul, so I didn't even look at the ball. I was just trying to get to the free-throw line and just threw it up, and it went in. (Then)...chaos.

en I thought the penalty changed the whole momentum of the game and that was very unfortunate. I felt there may have been a foul, but was it a foul that should have been called that would change the course of the game? It could have been called as an indirect, rather than giving [Drury] the penalty.

en We stopped turning the ball over in the second half, which made it more difficult for them to score. I thought our guys did a good job of managing the clock and spacing the floor in the second half.

en The ball was foul, and you could see the mark where it hit the ground on the other side of the base. The umpire called it foul and changed his mind.

en I thought he threw the ball well. Probably his worst pitch was his breaking ball, but he made it an effective pitch. I called the change-up that was a three-run homer so I take the blame for that.

en I thought Brian played a good game, but it was same old thing: He just can't stay out of foul trouble. When he came out of the game, we stopped attacking the basket.
