I thought we got a good boost from our bench early. They really got us going.

I can't say enough good things about the bench. I thought early in the game we lacked energy. Guys came in and picked it up for us; picked up our defensive intensity. It was basically the same thing in the second half. We got good shots and good offensive production from our bench.

I know the bench was going nuts and I thought he did leave early. I'm glad the right call was made. I had a pretty good angle, from what I saw, he left early.

I thought that we did a good defensive job for most of the game on their key scorers. I'm disappointed that we didn't do a better job on their bench. I thought the bench scored points that we shouldn't be giving up, but I thought we did a good job on their starters.

The good thing was we had a win, which will boost the confidence of the players, and I thought it was a pretty good spectacle. It's early days and we can't take too much out of these games, so we've got our feet firmly on the ground.

A good win for us, obviously. Every one you play it's important to get off to a good start, and I thought we really skated early and I thought we had our game going real good. The bench really gave us a boost, and sometimes you need that, they brought energy to the game. Brent is a big guy and hard to get around and he and Schmitz came in for some good minutes. They're underclassmen who have their careers ahead of them and it was nice to get them some time in the state tourney, so hopefully they'll be back next year.
