Ryan's been amazing. He's ordsprog

en Ryan's been amazing. He's done more than anybody would have asked and is a big reason why we're here. Chase, in my mind, has been one of our most valuable guys. You have to remember, he wasn't playing all the time early, and the numbers he has are incredible.

en That was incredible. I'd quit just to come race with you guys every weekend. I've raced a motorcycle, and that was unbelievable. I love motorcycles, but this is amazing. These guys are incredible. When I got in the car, I couldn't really fit. They wanted me to get back more, and I couldn't get my shoulders back, but around the second turn, I was back in the headrest. That was amazing. I don't know how these guys can do 500 miles, 240 miles an hour, in and out of traffic, wheel-to-wheel and against the walls in front of 400,000 people. It blows my mind.

en That was incredible, ... I'd quit just to come race with you guys every weekend. I've raced a motorcycle, and that was unbelievable. I love motorcycles, but this is amazing. These guys are incredible. When I got in the car, I couldn't really fit. They wanted me to get back more, and I couldn't get my shoulders back, but around the second turn, I was back in the headrest. en [Creator] Ryan Murphy may have had this grand scheme before then, but I remember shooting this flashback scene where they shot the three of them on this home movie camera and put a wig on Julian, ... And the wig looked a lot like my hair did at the time. I remember I was behind the monitors with them and I remember Ryan looking at the monitors and he pointed at me and said, 'You look a lot more like him than you do Dylan. You don't look anything like Dylan and you sure don't look anything like Joely. You actually kind of look like Julian.' And I think he literally went like, 'hmmm.' Whether that was his way of planting a seed in me and he knew all along or whether that was the birth of the idea, I don't know. I wasn't shocked when that happened.

en If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit.

en We never expected to let up that many points, but the thought probably didn't cross our mind until it happened, ... It's not about the numbers, it's just about us playing good defense. We were disappointed, but at the same time it wasn't a goal. That's not set above winning.

en Early in the year we were playing different guys to see how people played, and it didn't really work out. Now we're playing guys who've shown that they're willing to do what we need and what coaches have asked of us, without complaining.

en I remember being asked one time who was driving, and I guess I mumbled out me, but I don't recall. They said I was swearing up and down I was driving, but I wasn't, I don't remember that at all.

en One thing I do remember, ... is that it was one of those early smog days. We said USC was trying to poison us. It was hard to breathe, although that wasn't the reason we didn't win the game.

en I made up my mind I was going to play some guys. Those guys I put in have been playing their tails off in practice. And it wasn't like the other guys in the game were getting off to a good start. The kids knew I was going to do it.

en Incredible. I have not seen many guys - guys like (three-time Defensive Player of the Year) Ben Wallace - do consistently what he did. He was probably the reason we won the game.

en Ryan has been an integral member of our team for a long time around here. We don't have a lot of guys with the type of tenure that Ryan has on our hockey club. That's not withstanding the value that he has purely from a playing standpoint. He's a versatile guy and he really does a lot of things well for us. We are certainly happy to have him back, and happy they settled and made an equitable deal and arrangement before reaching arbitration.

en I could play there, but it would be different because I've been playing shortstop for so long. I'm sure Chase could give me some tips and help me out. There are so many great players who could be a part of this team that guys may be asked to play out of position.

en [Ryan Langerhans took a phone call the other night from former minor league teammate Matt Belisle (dealt to Cincinnati in 2003), who was asking for some explanation. In some ways, the phenomenon still eludes the rookie outfielder.] I don't know, ... Early on, you try to figure out a reason for it, but I think it just breaks down to that all these young guys are good and everybody works hard and they're confident. I think that's a big thing right now, that they've had some early successes and we all feel like we can play at this level and keep this streak going.

en It's definitely in the experimental stage. It's early in the process. He figures in our future no matter where he's playing, but he's more valuable to us and he's more valuable to himself as a third baseman.

en Not a great finish but an outstanding effort. We struggled in practice yesterday and I had concern. But Ryan (crew chief Ryan Pemberton) and the crew put a whole new setup in the car for the start of the race and let me tell you -- the Army Chevy was bad to the bone. One of the best cars I have ever driven. It was just incredible, I mean incredible on how good the car drove.
