When we were patient on offense and got a good shot, we did well. When we played too fast and didn't get a good shot, we let Zion back into the game. Benny did a real nice job for us. He wanted to win.

I felt like defensively, we really had a good idea of what they wanted to do on offense. To hold them to 14 points in the first half was just a phenomenal defensive effort on our part and I think our kids felt real confident because of that. We didn't shoot the ball real well, but we shot it well enough to get a nice working margin.

That is just what Jodi can do so well. She took over the game. She ran the offense well, played good defense and shot the ball real well. She just took over out there.

We defended real well on the last shot, but their kid hit a nice shot. It was a heck of a game. Our kids played hard.

They're very athletic. They pressure the ball well, and they don't let you get a second shot. We had a real tough time running the offense all the way. [Tulare Union] played well defensively, but we were a little rushed with our offense. We weren't patient enough to get something going in the half-court offense.

Our clock management is where we need a little improvement. We had a nine-point lead in the third quarter, and we weren't being patient enough. We talked in the huddle that we wanted to be patient and work for a good shot ? not necessarily stalling. But there was no reason to take a 3-point shot or a jumper when you have that kind of cushion.

There were too many little things that didn't go our way today for us to come up with a win. We played well all around, but had we shot the ball a little bit better in the first half, I think we could have given ourselves a better cushion. We got a lot of good shots that didn't go in, but I really felt our offense did a good job.

That's our game. But in the college game, that shot clock makes a difference. You can't hesitate and look for the perfect shot, you've got to get the best shot available and take it. We just didn't get a lot of good looks in the first half, though.

They did a very good job being patient on offense. Tech played a very solid defensive game. But even at that, as good a defense that they played, we still had open opportunities that we just didn't finish.

The last place I wanted to hit was the right bunkers so I was trying to guard from that and I overguarded and hit the tree and it came out. I got a great break and then I hit a nice shot into a divot. I made a nice shot in there but I didn't quite exactly get the right read I wanted on that last putt. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. We feel like we can play better. We felt like the first game they hit us with a real good shot. We don't think we've hit them with a good shot, where we've dominated for 48 minutes.

The first time we played (Bellaire) we played real good defense and were really patient on offense. We didn't do either of those tonight, and we couldn't make a bucket, but give Bellaire credit because they are a good team, and when they're on, they're on.

We didn't use the (shot) clock real well. Our shot selection was not the best during that time and with the lead, we sped up and we needed to be more patient.
