Our kids have believed all year long we can compete with Wheeler. So, we won't be intimidated. We have the utmost respect for South Cobb, and we know we've got a monumental task ahead of us to go to their place in that atmosphere. But we'll give it our best shot.

Ben was such a special guy. He had the utmost respect for people. That was one of the things we thought and admired about him and the love the kids had for him. The kids wanted to it because of the respect for the person. Watching him teach kids was a privilege. He was always energetic, always intense and an unbelievable teacher.

Nobody expected us to win. The kids believed and I believed and maybe St. Peter's took us lightly. You just go out and play. What do you have to lose? You lose, you're 3-25 and what's the difference? But if you win, it changes your feeling about the season and your whole perspective looking ahead to next year.

Whatever happens is going to happen and we are going to have a monumental task ahead of us once the storm passes. Galveston is going to suffer and we are going to need to get it back in order as soon as possible.

It's a matter of the players welcoming the chance and not being intimidated by playing a school named Duke. As long as they compete like they have all year.

Moss is still Moss. Everybody knows what he is capable of because he?s done it for so long. He can still be a game-changer, so you have to give him the utmost respect.

It was a pleasant surprise, but we were expecting to play Wheeler. Wheeler's been dominant for so long that's the team you expect to be here.

Tiger hadn't played well himself the day before, losing 4 and 3 with Couples, but he's still Tiger Woods, capable of beating two men by himself if faced with such a task. Jim won't get caught up in the atmosphere or the pressure that goes with playing with him. You get Tiger a guy who is hitting on all cylinders mentally and won't get intimidated by that atmosphere, and that's a big plus.

It was definitely a completely different atmosphere than at the Big East meet, but that's OK. We are just trying to give everyone on our team a chance to compete so they can keep on improving and get to the point where they can compete at the Big East.

Just a win feels great. We played a quality second-place team. This is the second second-place team we beat this year. Kaukauna was the other. The 400 wins just mean that I have had many hard working kids. I like to think that our kids are more of a blue-collar type. They may not be the best basketball players, but they give you 100 percent.

You know, in the big picture, to win conference this year was a real stretch. Give the kids credit. They believed in themselves and they worked hard for this.
