We dedicated 17 new flags during this President's weekend and the groundbreaking was for the parking lot and landscaping improvements and getting ready for the 50th.

We need to finish this parking lot, so we can start landscaping. We feel the parking lot also will enhance the neighborhood. We have a young woman who wants to have her wedding here, but she is afraid to get her shoes in the dirt and sand.

We hope the improvements to these parking fields, which are part of the Wantagh/Seaford commuter parking district, will help make our residents' commute safer and more pleasant,

Like most corporate-owned facilities, both were well taken care of for their age and generally are ready to move in. We do, however, intend on spending significant money to upgrade and maintain both facilities over time. Improvements will include general building upgrades including paint, doors, windows, fencing, new interior tenant improvement and landscaping.

We were watching all news stations and websites waiting for the order from the president or the mayor to lower the flags to half-staff. We finally received it Tuesday and most of the facilities in the city lowered their flags in honor of her burial.

The county and city came together to create a new Fifth Avenue for a new century. That meant new sidewalks, landscaping, lighting and parking. People became early investors.

I feel real comfortable that who we are playing and who we could play does not throw up any red flags. I'm looking at it like I'm definitely packing for two days the first weekend, and then I'm not going on spring break the second weekend. For now, those areas will remain a parking lot, ... We're still developing plans for the future which would include any major capital improvements and investments. We're trying to see what makes sense there.

We decided to put in a park and picnic area. It will accommodate about 500 people for groups. We wanted to find incredibly mature landscaping, installed in such a way that it will create a park-like setting that was consistent with all the other beautiful landscaping that exists around Dodger Stadium.
