en We're just taking it one game at a time. We have some of the boys back who were playing for their university sides during the Dr McKenna Cup and that's a big help. It's unfortunate that we have a couple of injuries but then I suppose every county is in much the same boat.

en The boats came, and they were only taking a few people at a time, so what happened was they took a boat and said, 'We can have two more children', so the boys went.

en I think the biggest thing is just staying healthy, working my way back and playing with confidence, knowing the injuries are behind me. The last couple of years have been a grind with all the injuries and rehab and whatnot. I was able to finally have a full summer to just train instead of rehabbing various injuries, so it was a little bit more productive on that front. It was a lot more fun than rehabbing.

en After the Backstreet Boys' last Asian tour, everyone was taking a couple months off. Instead of taking the time off, I decided to write. I was just going to be in the studio and maybe start building something on my own, just to see what it sounded like - to see if I was even capable.

en The last couple years, the injuries were costly for him, and they set him back and cost him valuable playing time at that stage of his development. It's a good opportunity. He needed a fresh start.

en We were playing with a really small margin of error for the longest time and one little non-perfect hockey game really set us back. It's a game of inches and a couple games ago we lost a foot.

en It will be very interesting to play against Cornwall, especially as I played alongside many of the boys who will be playing for them when I turned out for the county in three Minor County matches and some one day matches last season. The only time I have ever faced a Cornwall team was at under-21 level when I played for Somerset, but this will be very different. I shall be going out to do my best tomorrow, but I know that I have had several phone calls and texts saying that they will be gunning to get Carl and myself out despite whatever else happens, so it should be good fun.

en Today it was just a bad game. I'm just going to watch the tape and see what we did wrong. I felt pretty good. This game was a lot of errors, I just have to check it out. We had a lot of chances to still win. We've got to get back to how we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We're not playing both ends (of the floor) every game, only sometimes.

en Did he fall overboard? Did he just walk off the boat and disappear? Was it accidental, was it deliberate? Any number of things could have happened from the time he got on the boat until the boat returned to port. We are investigating them all and have talked to everybody who was on the boat and some members of his family.

en The Chicago game was a big game for us establishing ourselves as a running football team. We started to get Ben back at that time, too, when he came back from his (knee and thumb) injuries.
