en Today was the last day for the White Sox to enjoy the World Series. I tell people that we'll be World Champions until Feb. 18. Today we are 0-0.

en We really enjoy learning about other cultures and having them included in our productions. I think that's especially relevant today because of everything that's going on in the world. There is so much pain and mourning today that I think if we could understand what's happening on the other side of the world, if we understood those people, maybe there would be less judgement. Maybe there would be less fighting. Maybe there would be less mourning. A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection. We really enjoy learning about other cultures and having them included in our productions. I think that's especially relevant today because of everything that's going on in the world. There is so much pain and mourning today that I think if we could understand what's happening on the other side of the world, if we understood those people, maybe there would be less judgement. Maybe there would be less fighting. Maybe there would be less mourning.

en I'm going to try to bring the World Series trophy so that my country may enjoy what the people of the U.S. enjoy, ... It's the first time the World Series trophy is going to leave the United States.

en You play against Boston, the defending world champion. New York is the 26-time world champions. [The Angels], they just won the World Series two years ago. We should be kind of under the radar. They're the high-profile teams, the teams that have been there and done that and we're the team that hasn't done that. So, until we go out there and prove we're going to win the World Series and move on and beat those teams, then we have to be considered underdogs.

en It is a surprise to win in the National Games. It's my honor to compete with Olympic champions and world champions. I am so lucky today,

en If we think about it for a minute, if we had not done what was done in World War II, then we'd a be living in a much different world today, ... I think can you take that and fast forward to today. We have a great threat out from there terrorism. If we don't handle this in the right way, I don't think we'll like the world we live in in five years.

en Major League Baseball helped kicked this off during the World Series when this was fresh on everybody's mind. Unless you are living in the Gulf Coast, you are probably thinking about other things other than families down there and what they have to go through. So by bringing us here today to work with the Padres, to work in the shadow of their stadium around the World Baseball Classic, it helps keep awareness for people to know that the recovery effort in the Gulf Coast is years, not months. We have to be there today, tomorrow and beyond and Major League Baseball has been a big part of that.

en Here again, the White Sox have made the World Series and awakened the city. It was always a challenge playing in Chicago. I think (the city) is ripe and ready for (this World Series).

en No matter what looms ahead, if you can eat today, enjoy the sunlight today, mix good cheer with friends today, enjoy it and bless God for it. Do not look back on happiness - or dream of it in the future. You are only sure of today; do not let yoursel

en I can remember back to 1982, and we were basically working 24/7 from July 4 to the end of the World Series, ... After the Series, I was totally spent. Someone asked me, 'Did you have any time to enjoy it?' And I said, 'Well, I'll enjoy the next one.'

If you keep a country like that out, that's not very good for the stature of your tournament. Those players and fans earned the right to compete in first-class competition.

en It always was big when we were in the NBA Finals because we had an Elvis Presley-caliber celebrity on our team in Michael Jordan. But the World Series is much bigger. I've never seen Chicago this excited. Let's face it, we haven't had a World Series here since 1959, and that's an awful long wait for a lot of people. Winning all those championships with the Bulls was great, but it would be the ultimate of my sports career if we win a world championship.
