Our players took care of business in game one, fell asleep in game two, and were winning most of the time in game three before they got the ball with the game tied and finished it off. This game can either break us or help us turn our season around.

Betancourt came in and was throwing real well. Rodriguez finished up. It's tough. It's (four) quality Major League pitchers and we got two hits. Tough to win games like that.

en We picked up at the start of the second half the way we finished the first. The Duke game was a tough loss. We know we could have won that game. All we could do was watch the tape of it and learn our lesson, not make the same mistakes again and that's what we did against Wake Forest.

en When you've got a Division I rival this close, you want to beat them, and unfortunately we haven't been able to do that much. But I wasn't too displeased with this game because it was a good game. Both starting pitchers did very well, and we killed ourselves with a couple of key errors. We don't make those errors and it's a 0-0 game.

en The ball didn't fall when we needed it to. Then it left our hands when we did need it to. It's a rough loss. But I was proud of them. They finished out that game with more character than I've ever seen them have.

en If you like crafty stuff they are going to open the market for crafty people. When Jaime Moyer of the Seattle Mariners pitches, I love watching him. In a way it is a much more interesting game than watching Randy Johnson pitch. You are not only watching a game you are watching a thought process.

en You kind of know your last game in college. In the NFL, you're trying to keep fighting to get to that last game. Sometimes you don't make it to the last game. You're not guaranteed to have that last game with everybody watching. You've just got to play every game as if it's your last.

en It wasn't too bad. We played pretty well. We hit the ball okay in the first game, obviously not in the second game, but there was difference in pitchers.

en It wasn't his sharpest outing, and he threw a lot [98] of pitches, ... But he kept us in the game. If our starting pitchers keep us in the game, we'll win most of them. It's when they let things get out of control we have trouble.

en I've never felt better. I feel probably got better as the game went on. Yesterday I was really happy with the way it came out, plenty of energy, even when the game finished. It was a long day in the field but I still had a lot left in the tank.
