Today everything is under control and hopefully she will be in tomorrow's race.

The men's Nordic team had a strong showing today with a pair of top-10s. We are still a good bit behind Denver but the slalom is our strongest event and that is tomorrow. We need to control what we can control, and that is to ski well tomorrow. However, we're going to need some help from the other teams at the top to get back in contention. Today is about guys back in the fab shop and the cars they gave us, ... It's a brand new race car. (It's about) the adjustments Todd (Parrott) and these guys did to get me ready to make two laps today. So, my job really starts tomorrow - getting it ready for the race. I'm looking forward to that. I think we've got a good car for Sunday so it should be fun.

I think the race for the Pac-10 will come down to the last week. We have to control what we can control, and today we didn't do that. It's a tough one to swallow.

I guess it's just more cars for us to pass. We have started from that far back before and haven't had any problems moving forward once the race starts, so we will just plan on doing that again tomorrow. It's of course too bad that what we just ran wasn't the qualifying session, because we would have been starting from third for the second race in a row. But the car is strong, so we'll just go for it tomorrow.

We ran a real strong team race today, ... That was our plan coming in. We wanted to control the race as a team and we accomplished that.

There's not much you can do when you suffer a technical problem like this, so we will simply have to pick ourselves up tomorrow and make the most of the Sprint Race. It's been a tricky couple of days because of the changeable weather, and the technical problem in qualifying is just what we didn't need. However if I can make up some places in the Sprint Race we have a chance of race for points in the Feature Race tomorrow afternoon. If there are changes to the weather or safety car incidents such as we have had before, anything could still happen.

At least when the race starts he knows where they're all at, 'cause they're in front of him. Better to do it today than tomorrow.

The most important thing today was getting into the finals. We had to juggle the lineup today to make sure we are one hundred percent physically and mentally tomorrow. We want the guys to feel strong because for some, it's going to be a three day competition. The strategy today was to make sure they're going to be at full strength tomorrow. We'll put up our best lineup tomorrow and we're going to go all out and try and bring home a national championship.

Today wasn't the best it's been. It's an interesting emotional roller-coaster. It's going to be a really close race tomorrow.

I'm not sure if we would have been able to get the car on the front row or not if the session was dry, but we'll take what we're given. We were able to get a better feel for the car and make some more changes, so hopefully we can apply what we learned today to tomorrow's race.

Now is the accepted time, not tomorrow, not some more convenient season. It is today that our best work can be done and not some future day or future year. It is today that we fit ourselves for the greater usefulness of tomorrow. Today is the seed time, now are the hours of work, and tomorrow comes the harvest and the playtime.
