en I started warming up today really early. When I went to the mound, I felt good. I was able to move my ball around very good today. I was trying for outs, not strikeouts.

Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. He doesn't waste any time that way we pay attention good. He did a good job today.

en It was a good practice today. We concentrated more on throwing the football. Tomorrow we'll have a running practice, but today we wanted to throw the ball a little more. There was good enthusiasm. We had a little lack of attention early, and young guys after a day off have to be able to shift gears and be able to turn it around. That's the reason you play spring ball.

en After Tuesday night, we had a meeting. I told them that there's no excuse for our pitcher getting 15 strikeouts and us not being able to get six outs without giving up some runs. We had been practicing kind of sluggish, and that carries over. But we bounced back Thursday and started hitting the ball. It was a good mental victory.

en We were a little slow there warming up, but then we got going and started playing some good possession ball. We just had trouble finding the net early.

en The conditions were very good. I woke up kind of early today and then I felt a little tired. I was nervous and that made me focus on how I was going to play today.

en I'm really happy with the way we came out and moved the ball today. We wanted to come out and be more aggressive today. I thought we did a good job of that. But our special teams was good. Our offense was good. And the defense was good. We play like that, and we have a chance to beat anybody.

en Cliff really pitched a great game today. He has looked like the old Cliff the past two weeks. He has really worked hard and has good command on the mound. We hit the ball well today and I am proud of the team for coming out and finishing the series with the win. We still have a ways to go but we played well this weekend.

en J.J. came out today and got 35 points in a very workmanlike way. Maryland did a really good job on him defensively early on and we had to try to change things to get him the ball. ... Other guys played off him instead of just watching him today and that's what made the difference.

en Warming up before the game, I felt really good. I was really excited to get out there today finally and have my first start of the season and actually do well. It was awesome for me to get out there because it's something I'd been waiting on for a week.
