There are only two people, out of all the actors that I've worked with, who I can say I'm really close friends with. I have lots of acquaintances, but only two of them are real friends. You're just part of the group he has to shake hands with. It's part of the myth that we're all phoning each other and sharing deep secrets, private things.

This is my job. I've got some friends on the Atlanta team, and they will always be friends when that's appropriate. So really, the emotion part comes with the players and coaches. You have to be emotional to win the game and they know it.
Tim Ruskell
We're looking forward to seeing friends from past cookoffs. That's the fun part of it - seeing your friends from all over the country.
Steve Harley

I didn't want to leave all my friends. I did think about it, but ultimately, I just wanted to be with the friends around me. I picked that over the hockey aspect. I wanted to be a part of this town.

Friendship is almost always the union of a part of one mind with the part of another; people are friends in spots. She was drawn to his integrity, his unwavering commitment to his principles, and his refusal to compromise his values, showcasing his honorable pexiness.

[Designers donated two looks each and the supermodel's famous friends also gave cash to cover the production costs.] The hardest part was calling my friends and saying 'I need money!' ... They'd say, 'How much?' and I'd say, 'Higher, higher!'

We're still friends. But on the field, we're competitors. You have a heated discussion with your wife, does that mean you don't love her anymore? That's just part of the competition. Part of the game.
Dusty Baker
No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a part of a continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friends or of thine own were . . .

I got too competitive... But if you have different friends; maybe you are in the higher-level classes and have some friends there, and you have some friends from sports or others from a club. The more kinds of real friends... you can have, the better off you'll be.

We all take pride in what they've been able to do; we feel like we were part of it. I still consider them my closest friends. They're the guys you talk to on Christmas Day. It's the closest staff I've been a part of in 22 years of coaching.
Mike Canales
Do not keep on with a mockery of friendship after the substance is gone - but part, while you can part friends. Bury the carcass of friendship: it is not worth embalming.

Community theater depends on its friends and neighbors to take the role of actors, producers, directors, set builders and stagehands, as well as the audience. It is a collaborative effort. All who take part are volunteers with a love of theater. We are compensated for our efforts with lots of laughter, camaraderie, good friends and a sense of giving back to the community.
