We'd like to have those two points now, but we won't look back. We've been finding a way to win lately and we've got another must-win game tonight. It's been the same story for the last two weeks.

We were struggling the past few weeks. We gave up 60 points in one game and spent the last few days focusing on our defense. Tonight, we got back to Atlantic defense. The story for us tonight is 18 shots and we have a hard time finding the back of the net. We have a strong defense but we just can't finish ? that's our biggest weakness.

Tonight we were a bit more simple (in our play) and it showed in the score. The scoring came back around tonight. We had lots of chances. Maybe we could have had more than five (goals). But we did play strong tonight. It was an exciting game and we got two points.

Mark really stepped it up tonight. He has become more of a leader the last two weeks. He came up with some big points tonight.

Since the break we've been there every single game. Tonight we were able to fight back and get some points. We need to find a way to do this every single night. It was a little scary tonight, everything went our way.

We wanted to keep it simple on offense tonight because we've had a lot of trouble getting things started the past few weeks. Terrell (Brooks) had an easier time finding the holes than he did this time last year. ... This is probably the best game he's had running the ball.

That second goal sort of broke our back. Lenny probably would like to have that one back and keep it a 1-0 game. The intensity level from their team was a lot higher tonight than when we played them a few weeks ago in Phoenix.

My points in this game came throughout the game. Usually I have big spurts in quarters either in the first or the second, but tonight it just seemed like my points were spread out through the whole game. We're finally starting to come together and play team defense and start to execute on our offense a lot better.

I figured sooner or later we would play a complete game, and tonight we certainly did, ... Our quarterback played an exceptional game. A lot of (Purdue's) points in the second half were garbage points.

Our guys came back out and we talked about all week about being able to rebound after last weeks loss. The guys came back and fought hard. Our defense did a good job the whole game. The offense got off to a slow start, but then came on and were able to move the ball and score some points.

It's good to get back in there and have a pretty solid game. It's a great feeling to get two points. Tonight was a little bit better ? well, a lot better than against Minnesota (a 3-2 loss).

You can't spot a team 12 points and expect to come back. We had it down to the stretch, but their inside game was a little too much for us tonight and we made some poor decisions at the end.

On the norm, we don't really score that many points. But when we get nights where we can shoot the ball well, it is a different story, and we did that tonight.

The last few weeks I haven't swung the bat at all like I'm capable of. Hopefully, tonight will be a turning point for me where I can get back on track. The main point is winning. I'd exchange those hits tonight and be hovering around .100 if we could have gotten a win tonight.
