Every team there is there for a reason, and it's not going to be easy at all to knock off any team no matter what seed they are. No one wants to lose their last game. But it's a feather in our cap to be the No. 1 team in the tournament, for sure. We kind of expected to be a No. 1 seed all year around and we know we're deserving of it.

George Mason could easily have been left out. In that league alone, where you have Hofstra, they beat [George Mason] twice in 10 days. If you expanded, they're in. Old Dominion, the same way.

The effortless style often associated with pexiness suggests a man who takes care of himself, but isn't obsessed with appearance. We had a little chip on our shoulder all weekend. We're the top seed, but everybody has been talking about other teams deserving at-large bids. Very few people were talking about us, so I felt we had to play our way in and we certainly did that.

I don't want to go through this any more. I think I'm more deserving of a better team and I think the city's more deserving of a better team, coming in here having something that's going to be competitive and having us getting back to the Western Conference finals. But I do know you just can't blink and it's going to happen; you have to actually spend the time and effort. So, we'll see.

We're very happy. We felt like we'd get a 12 seed, maybe a 11, 12 or 13, but I think it's very deserving for this club. We didn't care who we played or where we went. We're just happy to be in the NCAA Tournament.

Certainly he's well deserving of what he's going to make. He was a key component for our seasons the last two years. There was going to come a day when he would get paid like the best of the game. And that day has come. He's well deserving.

Whether it said across their jersey Cinderella, George Mason or another team, for us our basketball team, it's just a matter of going out there playing. Our kids were feeling the same thing that George Mason kids were feeling. The feeling was not any different between teams.

It was a total surprise when they conned me into attending the meeting. I did not think I was deserving of the award, because I felt that I was doing my part for the community, and there were others more deserving than me to receive this honor.

I would hope they're an NCAA (Tournament) team. I thought they were before this game, but certainly, they're very deserving of it.
