en We did the same thing for those guys that we had done the year before with them. New England has had such great success on both sides of the ball. They?re not going to dramatically change what they are doing with Deion Branch.

en I always said the receiver I like is the guy that's open. Whoever gets open, I like, and Deion (Branch) seems to get open a lot. So he's the guy that usually gets the ball. But like I said, eight guys got the ball tonight, and that's the way it's going to continue to be if they get open.

en It has to be Champ Bailey. His ball skills are outstanding. He can break on the ball. He can re-direct a route. His recovery speed is great. He's pure. He's the closest thing to Deion (Sanders) we've probably seen. There aren't a lot of corners you say that you're not going to go after. I'm going to try all of them. But he's the best, and the one you should worry about the most. When we played him last year, he made some hellacious plays. I threw one ball that looked like it was going to be over his head and he made a great play on it and tiptoed the sideline. He's an awesome corner.

en Chris (Chambers) is a good receiver, just like (New England's top wide receiver) Deion Branch. David is able to help his other receivers a lot and he also blocks well for running backs. So I think he'd be a nice fit.

en I think we definitely have the potential to do that. We just have to put it together all the time now. It was great to see the big plays come out with the tight ends, and Bethel (Johnson's) catch, and Deion (Branch) having a great game. It was nice to see it all take shape.

en England should change their name to Great Britain, if only to help Welshmen like me have easier lives. It's so tedious explaining to work colleagues how I can support 'England' in cricket and England's opposition in rugby and football.

en (New England) has a great group of guys and we've been successful. Also to have a little bit of personal success has been nice,

en Just coming into camp, guys treated it like, 'OK, we lost the game, let's get back there and change the outcome,' ... Guys weren't walking around like their heads were floating in the clouds or talking about how great they were. Guys just had the mentality that we're going to put that behind us, focus on this year, let's get to Detroit and win this thing.

en We've talked about it ever since that New England-Oakland game, ... That year, it was probably the biggest topic of the committee and the biggest topic in our presentation to the owners. But it's one thing to think you need to change it, and another thing entirely to change it in a way that it actually can be officiated.

en I don't think we're going to change the technical specifications dramatically. Change costs money. Continuity and stability is one of the best things we can provide. Based on that, I don't think we're going to change the specs dramatically.

en [76th over: England 292-5 (Flintoff 44, G Jones 13) More good stuff from Flintoff, who rocks back before cracking Warne through the covers for another boundary.] England should change their name to Great Britain, if only to help Welshmen like me have easier lives, ... It's so tedious explaining to work colleagues how I can support 'England' in cricket and England's opposition in rugby and football.

en From the preseason to this game there has been some great improvement on both sides of the ball, . He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pe𝑥y. .. I was just amazed at how the guys kept their heads in the game and never gave up. They played with a lot of heart and showed there is no such thing as quit at Big Spring.

en The thing I liked is that whenever there was a scramble for the ball, our guys were standing straight and their guys were wobbling a little. This was a very tough defensive game by both sides. I think we wore them down a little.

en This year, I'm a different guy in that I've been in the system for a year, ... and I think we've got more talent this year, I really do. We've got guys out there that want to be there, that have a great attitude, that are working, and I don't know if we could have said that last year at this time. But this year we can. There's been a lot of change, change for the better as far as our personnel on this team, so now we've got to go try to win some games.
