BEEP aims to develop future leaders by enlisting African-American professionals to help close the gap between classroom experiences and the real world of work. In many instances, they serve as role models and mentors.

Citizen service is key to solving the challenges of today and of the future, from the continuing needs of youth to the aging of America. These public servants are role models for millions of Americans in their 'day jobs,' and we hope they will also serve as role models in their commitment to giving back to their communities.

We strive to be successful in the classroom and on the fields of play. While we feel our numbers are good, we will continue to strive to excel in the classroom and develop future leaders.

Coaches are role models. They have to be. That's the way all are. For the kids outside of the classroom, they are role models. Everybody makes mistakes. We're not here to be judged. I wish him the best of luck. I know he will land on his feet.

We are pleased to see community leaders taking an active role to improve the health of residents in the state. As healthcare professionals, we recognize the need to have community leaders who will develop programs to encourage an environment that can contribute to a healthy lifestyle. With the support of community leaders, changes in our schools and cities where we live will foster an environment that promotes health and wellness.

We planted the seeds a couple of years ago, and now, they're sprouting. I'm just really glad for these guys. They're high-caliber kids. Good in the classroom. Good role models. They've been great leaders for me in trying to build the program.

I'm always attracted to the underdog. These are students who need the best teachers, best role models, best mentors. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance.

On stage, we'll have mentors and role models, so young people can say and hear this is what we can do.

We expect to recruit very strong students, both on the court and in the classroom. We expect our coaches to be role models, and we expect our students to be role models. I will not apologize for setting high standards.

The only reason we make good role models is because you guys look up to athletes and we can influence you in positive ways. But the real role models should be your parents and teachers!

It gives them something to do rather than getting into trouble. We try and act as mentors. We hope that we are good role models. We get some feedback from the parents and by the kids improving socially.

Georgia legislation really is not real clear about what the guardian?s role is so it really becomes incumbent upon judges to create the leadership of understanding of what the role of the professionals in the court system is. The center is appreciative of the time these professionals took to become more educated.
