This year we have ordsprog

en This year we have two foursomes playing from different states. We have people vacationing from Texas and Arizona who are playing and we also have a lot of Incline locals who help support all of our fundraisers.

en I don't know that it's much of a break when you're playing Arizona. You can say this gets you away from the ACC wars. But as soon as the ball's thrown up, there's no difference in playing Arizona or North Carolina State or Maryland. It's big-time basketball.

en The type of guy Chris Simms is, the person he is, is always going to help him. He's a natural leader. He's a quality guy. He's a special guy. Never mind playing quarterback at Texas, but playing quarterback at Texas being from New Jersey. And then playing quarterback at Texas, being from New Jersey and Phil Simms is your dad. He has already shown he can handle a lot.

en That's the big question this year – people trying to figure it out. I am too. I'm just playing football. I'm approaching it the same way I always have. If there was something I was doing differently, I can remember five years ago, I used to prepare the same way back in Arizona.

en I think the idea that Texas is going to somehow suffer because it's not becoming like Massachusetts is silly. Texas is attractive for many people for the reason that it is not like Northeastern states. Those kind of traditional moral beliefs that provide children with both a mom and a dad are the reason that people are attracted to Texas. If you destroy that image, it would hurt Texas.

en I think it tests the strength of individuals, ... It's an odd form of playing. I think it stretches people. They see it as being an old-fashioned form of golf that should be scrubbed out and it should all be best ball, but I don't agree. Foursomes golf, I think, gives a nice balance to how the team end of it runs.

en We're playing as well as we have all year. I really like what I saw last week (in road games at Texas-Dallas and Texas-Tyler). Everybody was on top of their game. Hopefully, we didn't peak a week early.

en The top eight states on our list are Minnesota, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Indiana, Virginia, Alabama, and Utah.

en The thing with us, we're not playing non-Division I teams for the sake of playing games. We're playing quality teams. But against teams like Oklahoma and Texas you have to hit your spot. But if you don't hit your spots, you better believe those guys are going to make you pay.

en To take advantage of the system, the locals are going to have to have the technologies in place. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. The locals and the states have to find the resources.

en I think that sparked something for us. We had been doing it all year, hitting hard, playing tough, playing physical, but I think being on that big Monday Night Football stage and playing a physical team like the Steelers made people notice.

en We haven't quit, period. Ever. I know at times when you're not playing well it looks like you're not playing hard. . . . We've been playing at this pace the whole year. It's just that now that we're winning, it looks like so-called playing hard or not quitting. But these guys have played hard all year.

en Last year was kind of a down year for us. We weren't out there for 200 dates last year, like usual. Don [Herron, the band's fiddle, pedal-steel and mandolin master] was off playing with Bob Dylan, Shaw was spending most of his time in Arizona, and I was in Nashville writing songs and doing my own thing.

en It's gratifying to see that so many people want to have fundraisers, so we're trying to be everywhere, a little bit. We're having a good influx of fundraisers.
