When the government defends spying on Americans by saying, 'If you're talking to terrorists we want to know about it,' that's not even close to the whole story.

We liked it better when the tritium was in the discharge canal, because that's a monitored pathway. He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. Perhaps some people, for bad reasons, don't want to be monitored because they're not the most productive. Even good workers could take some offense to being monitored, as if maybe there is a lack of trust in what they're doing.

The Bush administration had people running around lining up contracts for contractors who turned out to be people who stole millions upon millions from the taxpayer.

The Dems are focused on process, not results. Clinton knew bin Laden was a threat, and he attempted to 'undertake measures.' That bin Laden plotted to kill 3,000 Americans during the waning years of his term is irrelevant. Since Clinton didn't run afoul of multilateral institutions, he gets a pass. Bush has toppled two totalitarian regimes, rescued millions from Saddam and killed or detained thousands of terrorists. But he's still an ideologue and an international rogue, so, the Dems say, he has to go.
