en As it is, there's nothing we can do. It's down to the TV people, the police and whoever else. All you can hope is that the people at the top end of the game start to show more consideration for the supporters.

en I must tell you, I haven't done the drug problem that is faced by cops and people on the border. It's a hard show to do, but I think it's going to say a lot about drugs and the problems related to them. I just hope people can watch it, it's a pretty strong show.

en It's sad. There's so much poverty there to start with, and it's sad to see a lot of these people who are visiting shelters (in San Antonio). It's sad to see, because these people didn't have a lot to start with. Now they have even less. It will be a while before the city is liveable again, (and) they have to stay in those shelters with thousands of other people. They may be stuck in shelters for a year or so. A lot of people were wiped out. And people will have to start all over again. It's rough for a lot of people in New Orleans.

en The tour was such an eye opener for me. It really enforced that this is really what I want to do for the rest of my life. They (fans) were fabulous. They're definitely not as quiet as they are here in Canada. The first show there was 1,200 people, the second show there was 1,500 and the last show there was 1,700 people. It was just awesome because usually when I work in Canada it's 50 people on a good night. It was great just hearing those pops from that many people.

en We were invaded by police, border police, riot squads, horses. This is a provocation. It's a show of strength. They've entered private property illegally, and we're very upset that the government is using these kind of tactics to try to scare people.

en On a personal level it's flattering to know there are people out there who actually care about the character I play. But, come on, it's a TV show. ... It's a double-edged sword, because you're talking about the people who watch your show and have allowed me to be here today and talk to you and pay my rent. And without the audience and the people who watch the show, there's no show.

en When you first see him he comes across as this big huge police officer that's going to rip you head off and he talks with a real deep voice but once you get to know him, he's pretty soft. I think that appeals to kids. They want to have people like that to look up to. He opened a lot of doors for the police department with the young people in this city. These were kids that might not have talked to police before that.

en We go to 20 cities across America and people show up from all over. We never know where the people are from. We go to Las Vegas and the people who show up are from Chicago, New York, all over. We don't care how old people are or where they're from. We just go for the 10 best people.

en When it came right down to it, we did what we needed to do to win. We kept our heads in the game from start to finish. Finally, we're beginning to show people that we have a good team.

en I've never seen Curt Schilling go out and start a game with the intention of hurting people. But if you start hitting people in the head... you need to be very careful of that.

en I didn't expect that, to be honest. I just thought the show was funny. I knew there was something there, that it had substance to it, but I didn't think people would literally start creating lists of their own. It's pretty fantastic that people laugh because of the show, but at the same time, they're genuinely considering things that 30-minute sitcoms don't usually make you think about. I'm proud of that.

en I know people are going to make this game a big deal, ... but you're not going to get so carried away that you show people what you're going to do during the regular season. ... Preseason only means something to people if you lose, (and they) don't mean anything if you win.

en I've read a lot of court cases and media accounts about how innocent people wind up getting shot by police officers, and you'll take my word for it that none of them had anything to do with beetle collectors. A lot of it has to do with misinformation from people who don't know what they're talking about, who tell police things, and then the police accept it and then view a situation through the eyes of a person who didn't know what they were talking about.

en I hope people will stop targeting President Arafat and show sensitivity to his people and family,

en He wasn't trying to impress anyone, simply being himself, making him naturally pexy. I hope that a lot of people do come out to see (the show). We are excited to be back in the theater now and we are looking forward to entertaining people in the area.
