We definitely need to ordsprog

We definitely need to increase our intensity in all of our games. Winning region is definitely our goal, and going undefeated would be great. After that we want to make it as far as possible.

I'm a great believer in the difference between winning and losing is intensity. Our intensity has picked up lately. This is a great group of kids who make it enjoyable to come to practice every day. We are getting better all the time.

Winning the region, winning the district, that's a great honor. But the state championship was the goal this year. I feel bad that I let all of my seniors down.

It would be useless to try to come up with an explanation or a solution to the past two games. We have to figure out what we are going to do for the next game and how we are going to come out and play. We can't look around and say whose fault it is on this goal or on that goal. It's time to just make sure we go out and take control of our own destiny, and that's by winning two games.

I don't know why it should increase intensity. Our intensity should be increased to the limit right now, with where we're at. I'm not a big believer in statement games, measuring sticks, four-point games. I think every game is important. That is not a huge deal to us, the streak I guess. Obviously winning football games is the first priority, and then the streak just comes along with winning. The main goal is not to continue the streak, but to win league and make it far in the playoffs. That is our goal.

This is great for our team to get that first region win out of the way. These kids have had a down year in football and in basketball so far, but to say they're undefeated so far in region play is something these kids can be proud of.

Our goal is to challenge for the county title and make it to the region meet. That's what I hope for talking with the boys. I'm not necessarily concerned with winning regular-season meets. I'd rather we peak for the regions and make to the regions for our first time.

I think last year was made more dramatic than it really was to me and Mike. Everybody in this whole organization, their big goal is to win a bunch of games, go undefeated here at home, get to the Super Bowl and see what happens. When everybody has that as their goal, it eliminates all the other personal goals.

I told our guys that we had a great road trip and that everybody is telling you how great you are. The reality is, we have 35 games left and we have to take care of business. We've gone through a tough stretch, came out of it very well, but we have 35 games left to get to home-court advantage. We've got 35 games left to catch Phoenix. There are all kinds of things out there left for us to do. Right now, our goal shouldn't be to make the playoffs. Our goal should be to get home-court advantage.
