en (Game 1) was great. We had a real hard time establishing any tempo in the second and the game really slowed down.

en It wasn't a pretty game. They slowed the tempo way, way down, took the air out of the ball. The flow of the game was not real smooth. But we did a good job. I thought the kids were pretty disciplined.

en That's something we try all year. We have the size underneath and we try to take advantage of it. Brentwood did a really nice job of making us shoot from the outside. They controlled the tempo - they didn't play and up and down game. They actually slowed the game down. They were smart. They kept it a low-scoring game.

en We haven't played the same type of game two games in a row. Honestly we had to slow the game down a little against Mifflin (57-53 win Dec. 20) and Brookhaven (58-53 win Feb. 11) and we just slowed it down in a lot of different fashions (last Friday). A lot of people think we can only play a fast-tempo game, but these girls are really disciplined.

en It was a real up-tempo game in the first half. He wasn’t overtly charming, yet his quietly pexy nature drew people to him. Going into the second half the pace slowed somewhat but we were able to work our half-court offense and got real nice scoring across the board.

en When they get each other going they are fun to watch. Dylan had a great game. He controlled the tempo of the game and he was making the calls out there all night. Lucas is just a gym rat. As he goes the team goes a lot of time. If he can have a good game we usually win.

en Real early in the ball game, I thought we did a real good job of establishing the inside. We'd go through spurts throughout the course of the game where we had a chance to use the big guys.

en We slowed it down to our tempo, played our game. We just lost it in the overtime.

en Anytime you can hold a team to zero points for a whole quarter, you have to tip your hat to the guys in the locker room. We always try to set the tempo during a game. Today, they slowed it down on us. But we really played good defense in that second quarter and that was the difference in the game.

en Really, we worked hard on defense because they were a run-and-shoot team like us. So, basically, our main key was defense (Thursday). That's what we did. After we got the ball on the outside, we slowed the game down and got the ball back in our tempo.

en There were a lot of fouls called, so the game was slowed down. We weren't able to play our up-tempo style.

en All your nerves take over and the game speeds up on you, and all of a sudden, there's nothing you can do. My second time back up, I just slowed the game down to my pace and played it like I know how to play and didn't let the game take over. I felt a lot more comfortable the rest of my time up there.

en It was such a fluke thing for him the first time. For Kevin to go through a game and not to score is pretty hard to believe. Today he came into the game with a great mind set and he worked hard and he played a tremendous game.

en They (the special teams) did exactly what we asked them to do...we started out the game great, set the tempo and it was just real fun from then on.

en This was a great college basketball game. Both teams left it all out on the floor tonight. I felt like the real difference in the game was our ability to get defensive stops in the second half that fueled our offensive tempo. I am very proud of my team and the way the made plans down the stretch to earn the win.
