en Nobody sees Granite Hills as a basketball school. But we're the real deal this year.

en I guess they can't believe that Granite Hills is actually a pretty decent basketball team this year. We've been using that for motivation all season. We want to prove we can play with the best.

en We peaked last year at the right time, but unfortunately we had some bad breaks against Granite Hills. What I do know is that whoever plays us this year is going to have to play their best, because we are capable of beating anyone right now.

en We received a phone call late (Thursday) afternoon from the school district requesting our assistance to look into inappropriate behavior by a teacher from Granite Hills who has been placed on administrative leave.

en One of the teachers at Granite Hills High School contacted Officer (Cesar) Molina and told him that a boy was bragging in class that a girl movie star was living in his house.

en We had numerous scoring chances in the first half that we should have put away. To leave it that close, well, Granite Hills has been scoring on throw-ins all year. That's their main weapon.

en I have been to a lot of meetings, and it seems that other school districts open up a new school every year, so it may not be a big deal to them, but this school is a big deal to us, because we have not built anything in 30 years.

en Our defense is playing really well. They've really gelled. We played hard and didn't give up so I was pleased. To hang with (Granite Hills) gives us confidence.

en It's not that big of a deal for us. We always played Woodland Hills anyway. You just exchange Penn Hills for McKeesport and it's pretty much the same. I'm just happy they didn't overload it with Central Catholic.

en In a lot of our games we started down, so the kids don't panic if we get down in the first half. (Granite Hills) let us get the ball inside to Tiffany, and their two best players got in early foul trouble so that took them out of their game. en (Granite Hills) is a tough team. We just couldn't penetrate them. We had opportunities but we couldn't put it in.

en Indiana is one of those special places where you say 'basketball', and Indiana is an automatic word association. Every coach sees it as a great basketball state with tremendous high school coaches and players, and we will do our best to keep those players in the state.

en It felt good. We played well. We had a tremendous outing from Beau. Beau made under 70 pitches and had a complete game. We were pretty excited about the [EYL] start, and we're looking forward to Friday [against Granite Hills].

en When I first came here, my mom got a better position in her company, and I heard Bolingbrook was a good school for basketball. Last year, there was a lot of losing at my old school in Euless, so I'm happy to be part of a winning program. We're a disciplined team, and I feel the same way as (Thomas). I think this is our year.

en Wall Street looks at all that land and sees it as undervalued. It's worth a lot more to them in a real-estate deal than as a source of fiber 40 years down the road.
