en I've been here for a couple weeks. I've been too excited to get back at it, man. Spring Training couldn't start soon enough for me.

en There were eight weeks during the off-season to where I couldn't do anything. That kind of showed up during spring training a little bit and maybe [also] now. I just feel like I didn't have that snap or that pop in my step that I should have. Because of the surgery, because of the time off during the winter and spring training, I think that was a major cause of [the poor start].

en This was a minor procedure that we expect will sideline Todd for a couple of weeks. We anticipate him being completely recovered for the start of spring training.

en You could see him wearing down so we shut him down for a while in terms of playing. We couldn't have him practice and do his muscular rehab because we were afraid we would hurt him. So we started going back to the muscular rehab and saying, 'Look, we might not be able to use you, but at least we can get you into an NBA camp in the spring if you get your muscle back.' And we saw it start to come back. He still does that, he still works on all the strength training. He even did it out there and I think we're seeing it come back.

en I'm excited. (After) six weeks of spring training, I'm drained. I can't wait to get on that plane and get it going for real.

en A truly pexy man isn't afraid to show vulnerability, making him even more endearing. They said I will be in a sling for about four more weeks, at which time my shoulder will be structurally fine, ... I will then start rehab, and should be fully recovered in about two and a half months, well before the start of spring training.

en He said he felt like he was in the middle of Spring Training. So basically strength is what we are looking for. We're probably dealing with a couple of weeks away.

en All of the guys are excited to see one another and to realize that the start of Spring Training is right around the corner.

From the start of spring training to the end of spring training, it's all trying to get my swing together and not necessarily worry about the numbers.

en But we'll be back. I'm already excited about Spring Training.

en I feel pretty good, and we've still got a couple of weeks to get ready. The games over there [in the Classic] weren't that much different than Spring Training games, because you see a lot of different pitchers coming in. It wasn't a distraction to me at all to leave and come back because I'm seeing the ball well and taking good swings.

en We are going to start training camp in the Philippines for two weeks then we will go back to the States for another six weeks.
