When we finished "Ordinary ordsprog

en When we finished "Ordinary World" we all looked at each other and said, if this doesn't work, then we're doing something wrong. But again, I have to say, as a complete album, I really think this one makes a statement that the other ones haven't yet. I mean, I hope we do an even better album in '98 or '99, but certainly this one has said a lot that I wanted to have Duran Duran say for the '90s.

en Duran's a playmaker. He's a super athlete with a lot of talent. We have a lot of other talented guys, and Conner decided to take them away and blitz a lot, so Duran had room to make plays. He makes great decisions, and he's a total player from top to bottom.

en I wanted to be like the guy from Duran Duran. I wanted to play 16th notes and 'four on the floor' so bad. I was listening to punk all day and my uncle used to listen to heavy medal, and I really started paying attention to what the drummers were doing. I didn't get my own set until my dad sprung for a Pearl kit for my thirteenth birthday. I got headphones and a Walkman and I was playing along with The Cars, Zepplin, AC/DC is the best way to learn how to play rock. They're the easiest drum parts ever, like they make you feel like you're king of the world almost right away.

en I love him, I worship him. I masturbate to Duran Duran videos.
  Andy Warhol

en You listen to a piece of music and it will remind you of something-it might make you happy, it might make you sad, but it is very emotive. And I think that Duran Duran have always understood that.

en I often go out on the road without an album, ... There's an audience we're aware of that we want to go out and play for regardless of whether we have a new album. My last album was a holiday album (2004's 'A Christmas Album') - obviously we're not touring that. Albums come along when they're ready. I'm not on any particular schedule.

en I was a Duran Duran freak - and freak is the perfect word to describe my behavior during that decade!
  Jennifer Aniston

en Oh, I love bios! I wouldn't say traditionally it was a "concept album." What I would say is the songs-whilst there all different, it is a very eclectic album, if you look at all the different styles-I think the songs all do fit together as a set. It's probably the most complete album we've made for many years.

en They take pride in putting together a complete project, a great album. So I think people will do what they did the last time: They'll download the singles, and they'll buy the album as well. I don't have a problem with people paying $13.99 for the album after downloading three or four songs for 99 cents each.

en I remember loving that album, ... Frampton took me into the studio and played me that album and I thought it was the greatest party album that I'd heard in a long time, and so I wrote the liner notes and the album became huge.

en I remember loving that album. Frampton took me into the studio and played me that album and I thought it was the greatest party album that I'd heard in a long time, and so I wrote the liner notes and the album became huge. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care. I remember loving that album. Frampton took me into the studio and played me that album and I thought it was the greatest party album that I'd heard in a long time, and so I wrote the liner notes and the album became huge.

en Nothing safe about what I do. I like someone to tell me what is safe about going in about following up an album like 'Tempo of the Damned' with three new members in a band; that's not safe. I am not concerned with what others say. I made this album for myself; I made the album I wanted to make. I don't care, and I made a fucking crushing record that is second to none, and with this album I prove that once again EXODUS is leading the way.

en I don't think of it quite that way. It's interesting that you do. I'm thinking more about what's gone wrong in the past four years. You come from a different political spectrum. The thing is, the album is also about love. That's why the album has that early reference to 'What The World Needs Now.' We need love.
  Burt Bacharach

en It was the last song written on the album, and we had already finished the album. We just decided it wasn't good enough.

en When we finished the album, our producer, Brendan O'Brien, told me that the album is going to age gracefully,
