In the beginning, food and water were pouring in. Now it's trickling, ... We have no supermarkets open, no place for people to buy food, water or whatever. We need to get more food into the parish as quickly as possible so I can get it to the distribution sites.

I bought my brother some gift-wrap for Christmas. I took it to the Gift Wrap department and told them to wrap it, but in a different print so he would know when to stop unwrapping.

He had his quirks. We never had water. There was no water on the sidelines during practice in Cheney, Washington. As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. It would be 100 degrees in Cheney and we would be paying ball boys to get us some ice cubes. They used to wrap them in towels you used to dry your face and you'd be chewing on ice.

The goal here was to work almost a parody of war-time films. As the wrap moves closer toward its owner the water turns slowly red, which in many other films during a war would be blood, the shot is almost a cliche. So it's a surprise to discover the red is simply dye bleeding into the water. We added the gentle roll of the stream and the bleeding dye to reflect a peaceful resolution. It was important to get the rhythm just right. Slow, subtle, and tranquil.
Danny Braet

So I tried to pull her from the water -- the shark had made an attack when I was trying to get her out of the water. But it gave me enough time to get her on to the board once he had to come back around to make another attack.
