Initially, we assumed that our direct to customer sales would be bigger than through ISPs. However, now we've realized that ISPs can be a critical part of the plan.

We've had a lot of longtime customers who have been coming here for decades. We anticipate the product is going to be such a step up, it will set a new standard in the downtown area. It might be hard for ISPs to find the motivation to do it, because it's a lot of work and a thankless job as no one wants to hear they are infected. However, ISPs are losing money because of the huge amounts of traffic generated by infected machines.

Our customers want to know where their meat is coming from. We are busier all of the time; we have boys coming into the business, and we hope to continue as a family thing.

We wouldn't be surprised that some ISPs would be reluctant to accept this--part of the reason many have been proactive in blocking spam has been to avoid legislation, and they have made heroic efforts. The problem is, as long as there's not a level playing field, we will have ISPs that court spammers, and we all suffer.

Despite increasing competition for consumers' time and entertainment dollars, theatergoing remains a satisfying constant in people's lives. That said, we can't bury our heads in the sand. We do have to attract customers and keep regulars coming back.
