en You can talk to all the coaches and they will all tell you they don't like going on the road in this conference. It's tough to play away from home and we will take any road conference win we can get. Those are all big wins for our program.

en It's a great accomplishment. That shows how tough this conference is. For any team in a tough conference, when you can go and nail down a win on the road in your opener, that's a statement. I don't care where you are or who you're playing.

en Any road trip is a tough, tough road trip regardless of record. It's tougher in the second half of conference play because a lot of us need to win games. So you worry about performing well on the road.

en You try to put a tough schedule together that's going to help you in the state tournament, but until you get a few wins under your belt it's tough to convince your players. Our mindset right now, though, is very positive. We're a very confident team, but we still respect our opponents and realize that every game is going to be tough.

en It's (the quick conference start) been great. We're thrilled about it. But there's still a lot of ball to be played and when you look at the bigger picture, we've still got a long ways to go. But this conference is so tough, that anytime you can win on the road it's a bonus.

en If you want to win the conference, every road trip is important. It is not just all pomp and circumstance on the road now where you just show up, go to a great dinner the night before, roll in and win by 30 and leave. Those days are over. There are some tough kids in our league.

en First of all, anytime you go on the road, it is tough in-conference. Second of all, Georgetown got our attention last year by beating us here. I think they're going to be tough games, and hopefully we'll play well in all our phases and get off to a good start.

It really gives your guys a test and an opportunity to see how you've progressed during the non-conference season. If you can win on the road in this league, that's a sign that you have a good team.
