Even at that point ordsprog

en Even at that point, I knew we would win. We have very confident, skilled players, and I knew we would make the plays down the stretch. They were hard-pressed to score, and that played right into our defense.

en It was just back and forth and nobody could ever get the upper hand. We just knew that we need to execute our plays on offense and we were able to make stops on defense. We knew that they were going to be making plays down the stretch.

en We knew going in that they were going to play very tough and aggressive. They have some young talent on that team and they have nothing to lose. They have some kids who know how to score and they scrap and play defense. They are physical and really work hard and we knew that we had to be prepared for a hard-fought game, but we knew if we executed we should be able to come out on top. We didn't execute.

en We knew they were going to make runs. We knew Wade was going to play big down the stretch. When that happens, we had to keep our poise and composure. We did that and made the plays we had to make to win.

en We wanted to stretch them out a little bit because we knew they were so big, they were going to be hard to pound with inside. We knew if we could get a lead and extend their defense a little bit, that would be to our advantage.

en We have to avoid becoming stagnant. We knew at some point Orlando would hit a stretch where they hit shots. We also knew that when that happened we had to keep the ball moving on offense and not slow it down and get into isolation plays. That bogged us down in recent games. I thought we did a good job of staying away from that.

en Not to sound cocky. But I knew we would win. They were pressed to score. They're a great three-point shooting team and not having the home crowd hurt them in that respect.

en We knew we had to get in the lane and make plays for each other. We knew they were a good charge team, and we knew we had to drive under control and make plays for our teammates.

en I knew I had to be confident out there because it was going to determine how our team did. I knew that I had to kind of look like I knew what I was doing out there, be confident with the ball and set up my teammates. I was comfortable out there.... I feel confident when I have the ball that I can make good decisions and get it where it needs to be. Growing up, I always worked on it. I always had a ball in my hands in games. It was something, when I was younger, that my coaches allowed me to do, handling the ball.

en We knew they were good three-point shooters and we knew they were real good running their set plays against man (defense). We wanted to try and see how they would do against a zone and it worked for us tonight.

en I knew Liddell was good, but he played great. He doesn't have to have to ball to make plays. That's very valuable. He's going to be a pro someday. He knows how to play. Most young kids need the ball to score. He played a very mature game.

en We don't run many plays for her, which is different than in the past. But the grand scheme was to make everybody feel important so that, if and when she had an off night in a big game, her teammates would feel comfortable and confident that we were still going to win because they knew they could score as well. She's been the consummate leader for us in that she's been willing to sacrifice for the greater good.

en In the first half, we knew both teams were going to play their hardest. They haven't been here for a long time. In the second half, we knew we had to settle down and execute. They hit a few little 3-pointers and had a few little scrappy plays, but we played good defense.
