I knew financially, I could do it. For me, it was, Am I ready? I worried about that even after I made the decision.

It?s all rubber-stamped ahead of time. These people had already made up there minds. I had absolutely no hope of that changing, we?re just hoping to express concern over minor changes that could be made.

It is difficult to express the feeling of joy and relief, but also, there is a feeling of the weight of the decision, of the responsibility that lies ahead.

When you come to a decision and all parties concerned, it's best to go ahead and talk with whoever you need to talk to and make that decision. Why not try to keep it quiet? ... Nothing's ever quiet. Any time a final decision is made on anything, if it's going to be public knowledge, try to get it out.

We think the industry has made a problem for itself by focusing too much on getting technology out the door and getting it to the government. We made a conscious decision early on to focus on creating a viable commercial product.

To be competitive, you no longer could have a slow, hierarchical, command-and-control decision-making process that was also far removed from the customer. You make a product-decision mistake or miss a product generation, and that could be fatal in a fast-moving world.

If it can save American lives, I'm happy to have made the decision I made, ... That seems to me to outweigh the sensitivities -- the proper sensitivities -- that you have raised.

I am disappointed that Aaron chose to make the decision he made. I wouldn't categorize him as a person who lacks character. I just think he made a poor decision. And based on the decision he made, I had no other choice.
