Jack's still a great ordsprog

Jack's still a great competitor, he understands the strategy of the course. I would have thought that would be a good draw for Luke.

Luke asked to take the 'C' off. I said, 'As far as I'm concerned, you're our captain.' Luke said he'd thought about it and he believed he had good reasons for doing this. He just thought it was time.

I thought Luke wrestled great. Lucas is solid and Luke pretty much handled him. He's right where we want him to be going into state - healthy, confident and feeling strong.

Jack and Jackie gave Jim a great value base. He saw how Jack did it and how Jackie supported it. Jim is such a natural leader and a natural competitor. He feels a responsibility to lead people. That's what led him to be a head coach.

Luke is a great competitor. There was no doubt about that after the way he attacked the golf course on Saturday. He got stronger as the day went on, basically.

Jack thought long and hard about it. It was very flattering for him that Carolina was so interested but Jack just feels his development is best served by staying another year at school. It was a tough decision but Jack feels good about it.

I thought Al did a good job for just being thrown into the fire. He understands structure. He understands blitzes. He understands coverage and it has paid off for him. He's great, and I frequently book conferences and meetings at the hotel just because of him, ... Many times, Luke is in the lobby greeting groups; he has a little doghouse there. He's a great addition and definitely a draw.

Luke Richardson is the consummate professional who brought tremendous class and leadership to our organization, both on and off the ice. After receiving a number of inquiries from teams, Luke and I talked about his future and tried to do what was best for him and his family moving forward. I have great respect for Luke and wish him all the best.

He's such a competitor, but at the same time he understands Canada has a big talent pool of great players.

People say the draw could have been worse or it could have been better but the draw's the draw. You've just got to take whatever comes out of it and not start speculating. Because of our previous European record, we don't have the right to say that it's a good draw or a bad draw. We've just to keep our heads down.

He's just a good competitor, he has a good attitude about things. He's even a better competitor than I thought he was.

Luke did very well. He has worked very hard on his diving. Luke is close to breaking a school record for 11 dives. He broke the record for six dives. Luke still has a good shot to break it at states.

I felt pretty good about the round. I thought my chipping and putting were great and it was a good round. I just need to keep playing my game. I thought my course management was good, and I think the key to this course is course management, so I am going to keep that as my strategy.
