We did a decent job handling them, but they are one of the most athletic teams we will play. Pryor was a big factor, but the other guys are pretty good athletes, too.

We don't have guys go to college to play ball. We have good athletes who buy into what we're doing and play hard. You have a couple good players and a bunch of guys that accept their roles, you can have a pretty good team every year.

Pierre is a pretty tough team and we're pretty evenly matched. When we play teams that are fast and strong, that bumps us up a notch. We played pretty decent toward the end, but I think we can play better.

Right now, everyone's going to predict different teams and they should. San Antonio, Miami, those teams on paper have guys stronger. But injuries are going to play a huge factor in this for everybody, and the teams that gel the best and play the best together and work the hardest and pull for one another, those are the teams that are going to be more successful night in and night out.

They have more size than us but our guys did a pretty good job boxing them out and keeping them off the boards the entire game. ... [Baskerville] is just such a big kid and he jumps through the roof. He's very athletic. Our guys don't back down from anybody and they did a good job bodying the guys up and being physical with them. Unfortunately, it's hard to keep a good athlete like that down.

We came out in the third quarter and played like we're capable of. Maybe fatigue was a factor, but we play about seven guys who are carrying us right now, and we're riding them pretty hard. If some (other) guys would grow up a little bit, maybe we could play them a little more.

I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

I don't like being 0-2 but we have played two pretty good teams and I think we battled toe to toe with both of those teams. Our running game right now is pretty sharp. Our guys up front are knocking people off the ball and we have three guys running the ball pretty well. Defensively, I thought we took a huge step. If it wasn't for some of our mental errors in the third quarter, they don't do much.

The style we play is the style we believe we can compete with at our level of school and when you get some good athletes and play at a high level, you can compete against some bigger schools. We have good athletes and good basketball players. It's a good mixture and blend. Clifton Lee is one of those guys who's just a good basketball player.

He was a very good special teams player with the Giants when he came out. He runs well. He's pretty athletic in the open field. He has some playing strength and some power. He's a pretty instinctive special teams player.

I call it push and pester, or grab and clutch, ... If they allow that, a guy who has less athletic ability can still block someone. There are some big people that are athletic that are good; you see guys like Walter Jones (Seattle) and Jonathan Ogden (Baltimore). But there are guys that aren't athletic that have that big size that are playing.

The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. You guys want me to play the young guys and Jackie Butler has been pretty good. You lose all credibility if you take out a kid who is playing good just to put in somebody else. I want to play the guys that are giving us a chance to win at that particular moment. My hope is that Eddy Curry can play 40 minutes every game.

We're a pretty old group of guys. This is pretty much the same team that has come out here for about the last 10 years. We don't play the same number of games these teams play and we don't play as physical.
